These are not people who follow the word of Jesus Christ. First, our car broke down on the road. We were able to steer it into their parking lot. We asked to use their phone and call for help. The pastor allowed us to but was very impatient and rushing us the whole time. We have a 4 month old baby. We were told we had to wait outside for our ride... our ride wasn't going to be able to get there to pick us up for almost 2 hours. It was in the high 50s, low 60s outside AND WE HAD A BABY. The pastor told us we had to "wait outside for the safety of the women in the church" because the pastor was leaving. Their were at least 6 women inside the church. The pastor was walking (kicking) us out of thr church and even said he felt like he was kicking Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus out as if it was funny. pastor told us when the women left the church and if we were still out there waiting for our ride, one of them would stay and see if we were ok and ask us if we needed to use her phone. When the women came outside the church... NOBODY said a word to us. They saw we had a baby. They saw it was chilly. The woman who was supposed to stay and help us if we needed anything saw us struggling and didn't say a word to us. She just sat in her car. Because we were on our way home and didn't expect our car to break down, we didn't have any water for my babys formula. He started to get hungry and we needed water. I had to get water from their hose while the woman in her van sat and watched me do it. She watched me as I was getting hose water and pouring it into my babys bottle. We started to realize she wasn't there to help us if we needed it... she was there to watch us. She was watching us to make sure we didn't do anything bad. She didn't say a single word to us. Our ride finally got there and as the driver who was taking us home was backing out of the parking space, the woman in the van from the church nearly hit us because she was in such a hurry to leave. She flew out of there. I understand people have things to do. We weren't asking for a handout. All we needed was somewhere warm for our baby to sit and some clean water. I understand nobody is perfect and we were being an inconvenience to them. But they handled the situation very poorly and in a way I would not expect from church members. It reminded me that just because people go to church, doesn't make them good people. I just thought I'd let everyone know our experience with these people when we were in a desperate situation. I will pray for the people of this church and hope that the next time God gives them a situation like this again that they handle it differently and more loving.

This Church is amazing. The pastor and congregation are very kind, humble, and compassionate. They're always putting Jesus first, and making deciples is their goal. Regularly, their planning and carrying out ways to help others in need through benefit drives, hunger drives and more. Furthermore there is an awesome praise band that plays every Sunday morning at 8:30.
